I kept staring at that steering column. Why would anyone put a detachable steering wheel in a Miata, the owner must be huge. And then Miata is the obious answer with that roof.

Those steering wheels are big with the Japanese car tuner crowd. I’m not sure why. I kind of like the rusty patina on the hood. It’s a good complement to the crappy body kit.

There’s nothing wrong with that hood. It hasn’t got any holes in it so it’s just patina indeed. Both that body kit and steering wheel shoot be banned though. I can understand that steering wheel fetish in Japan, most of the Japanese I know exceed 7 foot anyway.

Ha. They’re large people indeed. I think the removable steering wheel is an anti-theft device. You can’t steal a car without a steering wheel. Unless you bring your own, I guess.
